Job Ref Code : HR-GM (Based in Hong Kong) Purpose: The Regional Manager, Global Mobility is responsible for advising employees, line managers and HR regarding all continental and international transfers. This advice includes but is not limited to candidate appropriateness, type of transfer, pension and benefits planning in line in order to ensure compliance with company plans, legal requirements and country norms. Principle Accountabilities: The Regional Manager, Global Mobility will: -Manage internal & external vendor relationships dealing with the HR issues of all inter-country transfers, e.g. expatriate administration, immigration, benefit providers, relocation services and through the outsourced vendors manages all aspects of the expatriate assignment or international transfer from initiation through to repatriation. -Develop effective working relationships with line managers and the expatriate community by providing appropriate, timely advice to build trust. -Develop and update policies e.g. expatriate, tax equalization, short term assignment and trainee policies. Interpret policy where necessary, manage exceptions and resolve issues effectively. -Manage procedures to ensure the company remains compliant with regard to taxation payments and overseas payments to appropriate authorities. -Oversee the internal HR administration in respect of expatriate assignments and permanent transfers, e.g. payroll set up and changes, process invoices, track payments, prepare reports, etc. -Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce Requirements: -Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. -3-5 years of experience in global mobility, expatriate tax management or a related field. -Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills; the ability to manage challenging clients and interact with all levels of management; strong organizational and prioritization skills; be proficient operating a personal computer and desktop applications. -Able to travel when required Please send your resume, stating current and expected salary to : E-mail : resumes@hk.flextronics.com |
