Job description:
1)Responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures related to the engineering function for Teradyne account.
2)Responsible for managing and overseeing the methods, processes and operations for both new and existing products/models related with engineering service.
3)Provide technical (Process/Testing engineering) solutions to customer to meet their expectations.
4)Provide overall technical solution from PCBA to Electro Mechanical system build.
Responsibilities:
-Participates in the review of customer contracts and engineering designs by outlining requirements and considerations.
-Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data.
-Participates with other senior managers in establishing project related plans and objectives.
-Directs the activities of engineers and staff and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
-Interacts regularly with executives, customers in solving technical issues.
-Drives engineering strategies to deliver customer requirements and recommend Solectron capabilities in manufacturing and engineering services.
Requirements:
-Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (EE) . A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
-Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, including supervision.
-Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
-Demonstrates mastery of expertise Process and Testing Engineering (ICT & FCT and product analysis and debugging), very complex testing involving Digital, Analog, Microwave
-Solves multiple, complex problems using high degree of initiative; develops innovative approaches to solve critical issues and architects and delivers world-class solutions.
-Defines/determines and approves methods, standards, policies and procedures.
-Approves assignment objectives and regularly coordinates assignments cross-functionally and/or cross-site.
-Fluent English
