General Summary Statement The Accounting Manager will help manage and grow the processes and systems of Accounting at Ford China Operations (FCO) including: maintain the books of account for reporting requirements in Chinese Statutory and US GAAP; and ensure that accounting practices meet all regulatory, legal, and tax requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley. Major Responsibilities: -Manage Accounting processes on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure books of accounts accurately represent the transactions and financial condition of the Company (Head Office and other business units) as required. -Prepare China GAAP and U.S. GAAP financial statements. -Develop, implement, and maintain Business Practices and Desk Procedures (ISO format) for various Accounting functions in FCO consistent with Chinese and US regulatory and legal requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley. -Maintain Accounting processes to achieve no 'Major' deficiencies in Ford Internal (GAO) audits. -Supervise monthly process for account reconciliations including approval and presentation to FCO Accounting Director. -Support interface with External Auditors during annual statutory certification process. -Work closely with FCO and Ford Corporate Finance, Tax and Operating Management to drive process improvements and efficiency actions, including maximization of systems solutions for accounting and tax. -Support preparation of Company tax returns (national, regional, local) 经验与技能:
Qualification Requirements: -Undergraduate Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance. Master's or MBA or nearing completion is a plus. -Professional Certification: CPA or CA is required. -Minimum of 5 years work experience in Accounting with a multinational company in Manufacturing and/or Sales-Marketing. -Manager or Supervisor in above work experience. -Information Systems experience / training. -Willing to teach and share experience & learning with others - - A team player. -Flexibility for travel (up to 30%) -Fluent English: speak, read and write. -Willing to relocate to other business units.
