Responsibilities: -Maintain the development of Material Master Data and related workflow processes for all areas of the company by coordinating between IT and functional departments. Ensuring a robust workflow of Master Data elements and data validation processes for all divisions; -Responsible for data collection, mapping, and transformation and loading of local master data into target systems; -Provide leadership and training regarding master data functionality to end-users; -Develop proactive processes and audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of such SAP dataset as Material Master, Bill of Material File, Purchase Info record and SAP Vendor File; -Compiling, inputting and frequently reviewing production planning parameters in the system for SAP MRP; -Reviewing and maintaining forecast for finished goods and substrate, including New Products; -Planning and purchasing adequate substrate for production. Maintains alignment of inventory levels and mix to achieve management target for service level; -Process customer orders in the system; communicate with customers on the order status; -Process and monitoring of special orders as required; -Determine MRP requirement and scheduling work orders for each work center. Monitor workload and communicate priority changes to supervisor or manager and appropriate departments; -Lead and implement required process changes; -Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures as directed; -Participate in hiring and training new planners; -Initiate and implement process changes.
Qualifications: -A BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience; -4-5 years demonstrated experience working in a production planning, inventory control in manufacturing environment; -Proficiency in Excel at an advanced level, including spreadsheet creation, editing and exporting to other applications utilizing macros and pivot tables; Able to effectively use Word,PowerPoint for effective management reporting and presentation; -Strong SAP skills, thorough knowledge of all relevant SAP reporting; -Must possess excellent time management and organizations skills; -Advanced English communication skills; -Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization; -High degree of initiative and ownership, attention to detail, and the discipline to follow through on assigned tasks; -Strong project management skills.
