Responsibilities: Direct and coordinate production, processing and logistics. Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints. Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems. Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs. Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records. Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports, to detect production problems. Review plans and confer with support staff to improve processes. Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job. Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions. Managing one's own time and the time of others. Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Required Candidate Attributes: Five years experience in production management of a middle sized manufacturing for mechanical and/or electrical systems, production processes planning and operation, quality and cost control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
