-Production -Production of parts according to the requirements and work orders of order center (OC) in good quality and at the right time -Production of parts acc. to the estimated process times and within the required cost level -Reporting of production figures and production progress in a data system (e.g. SAP, Excel) -Coordination of the work of supervisors, assistants and workers to fulfill the given tasks -Produce parts in the most efficient way, minimizing of additional costs and waste of time, money and material during the production process -Quality -Train subordinates to produce qualified parts -Supervise operator self control to ensure a stable production process -Guarantee a full recording of waste and scrap material -Actively support analysis and processes to improve the quality of parts, process or procedures to reduce waste -Equipment and shop floor -Guarantee order and cleanliness in the whole shop floor area and in the subordinated departments -Actively introduce 5S system -Supervise general cleaning of equipment on shift changes -Maintain, control and change cooling liquids and hydraulic fluids for machines acc. to process requirements -Coordinate TPM activities with T-MT -Report on equipment status and observations to T-MT and T-OC -Supervise PR-RS to have a reasonable inventory level of cutting tools -Keep the inventory in production (WIP) on a reasonable level and support OC in inventory related tasks -Support and improve security conditions in the production, make sure employees use proper security equipment and devices -HR -Administration and leadership of subordinates (shift arrangements, holiday and overtime arrangements, assignment of reasonable tasks, participation in the performance evaluation process of SEM) -Training and support of subordinates, make sure that the subordinates are properly trained to fulfill their assigned tasks -Maintenance and update of a qualification matrix for all employees according to their performance and training level -Monthly performance evaluation for all employees for salary determination acc. to SEM procedure -Projects -Support new projects during production try out and assign designated responsibles -Prepare the production environment for new projects acc. to Project Management and process requirements-Other Tasks -Reporting to D-T -Additional tasks assigned by D-T -Support other departments in fulfilling their duties for the benefit of the company
