ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking an experienced, strategically-focused account manager to drive the growth of our business in China. Essential functions * Drive sales through managing distributor relationships in the region. Train and develop distribution partners to optimize effectiveness * Develop and implement sales strategies to drive organic growth in the respiratory care/ventilation market * Cultivate and leverage customer relationships at the executive level * Meet financial and operating objectives including revenue, contribution margin and cost control -Achieve annual operating plan by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage -Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of GE and competitive products -Maintain complete knowledge of each account's current and long-term purchase plans and objectives, keeping management informed of all changes in plans, objectives and key buying influences
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree * Minimum of 8 years of sales experience * Proven sales track record * Strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages * Willingness and ability to travel within the region * Demonstrated ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization * General comprehension of English language
DESIRED: * Pharmaceutical or medical majors preferred * Marketing skills and experience * Minimum 4 years Healthcare capital equipment sales experience * Prior experience working for a large company in a matrix environment
